CHOCOLATE BOTTOM BANANA SQUARE

Salam sume,

Amacam cuaca pagi ni? Masih gerimis lagi kat JB ni! Baju yang tak kering pun dah makin banyak! Masa ni ler baru terfikir ..... kalau ada dryer kan bagus! Tapi tu masa2 cuaca ala2 musim sejuk ni jer .... hari biasa mungkin kureengg berguna! Dan masa2 macam ni jugak lah kita akan kata, kalau ada water heater kan bagus .... dah beberapa hari ni, mandi pun macam tak basah jer ..... main cicah2 ajerr .... sejukkkk ngko!!!

OK lah, ari ni nak share 1 resepi baru yang akak dapat dari blog Kak Nor - Secubit Garam! Kak Nor lak dapat dari blog Rima! So akak pun rewang ler kat blog Rima, hoiii ... macam2 ngko! Rajin ngan tidak aje kita nak menerainye! Resepi ni pada akak ok, tak manis sangat, sedang elok! Iman pun suke, asyik tanye aje .... mana kuih yang ummi buat tu? Cewah! Keyy lah, jangan buang masa, ni resepinye, tapi in English, akak copy n paste dari blog Rima, cuma gambo tu aje yang akak snap sendiri, tapi tak berapa nak hensem, sebab masih dalam loyang lagi! Actually akak buat kek ni untuk majlis kenduri arwah n tahlil kat umah atuk, tu sebab tak potong lagiiiii .......

CHOCOLATE BOTTOM BANANA SQUARE

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter - 113g
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed banana (about 3 medium bananas)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt - I used 1 tsp since i used unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa - barry callebaut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips - i used both white and chocolate chips
Method
  • 1. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and bananas, beating thoroughly.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • 3. Divide batter in half. Add the cocoa to one portion of the batter. Spread that portion in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch (I used 9x9) baking dish. Spoon remaining batter on top, swirling gently with butter knife if desired, and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • 4. Bake at 170C for 30 minutes or until batter tests done with a toothpick or fork. Cool and cut into 24 squares
